One Resilient Earth

Most humans are not prepared to live in a world of climate instability. Extreme weather events will become more frequent and intense in the coming decades, and the sea will keep rising no matter the cut in carbon emissions. It is normal to feel overwhelmed, powerless, and to look away, considering the scale of the crisis. But, what if we could get out of our own ways, limit the unavoidable impacts of climate change, understand the root causes of climate vulnerability, and grow the communities, ecosystems, and skills we need to thrive together? Growing climate resilience is an ongoing learning process. It implies developing a curious, creative, and collaborative mind/body; re-building relationships and communities of support; and restoring the health of ecosystems. Therefore, we focus on: • Supporting emotional and mental wellbeing, through climate emotions circles, and other emotional co-regulation processes • Equipping young people, sustainability professionals, educators, creatives, and other aspiring change-makers, with knowledge, tools and skills for long-term climate resilience, transformation and regeneration, through in-person and online transformative learning experiences • Nurturing a transnational online community, for peer-learning, mutual support and collaboration • Advocating for a transformative, regenerative and transdisciplinary approach to climate resilience building, and climate education, with a focus on transformative learning and artivism. One Resilient Earth has supported 3300+ young adults and committed professionals/citizens in climate emotions circles, training sessions, retreats, workshops, and learning journeys. 100% of our surveyed learners would recommend our learning journeys. We have also been invited to partner with UN organizations, top-tier universities, museums, galeries, international NGOs and private companies. We are based in Berlin, Germany, and work globally.
