Opt New Caledonia

OPT New Caledonia is a government-owned company operating in three segments: mail, financial services and telecommunications. Its contribution to the economic and socio-cultural development of New Caledonia go through a dual mission : firstly, a public service for the benefit of all citizens and secondly, an expert mission in the implementation of advanced technologies in the fields of Internet, broadband, fixed and mobile telephony. It is one of the largest employers in New Caledonia with a workforce of more than agents and a sales network throughout the country of more than 50 branches. In telecommunication, OPT New Caledonia offers fixed line telephony, a GSM 3G mobile network, Internet broadband access and business data services. OPT also operates the Gondwana-1 undersea communications cable connecting New Caledonia and Australia.
