From 2012 until its closure in 2019, OptiCits—an IQS-Universitat Ramon Llull spin-off—pioneered urban resilience with HAZUR, a SaaS platform for comprehensive risk assessment and crisis management. Leveraging cascading-effects modeling and advanced graph algorithms, HAZUR empowered organizations to build digital resilience plans and respond dynamically to emergencies. Our holistic, data-driven approach influenced leading corporations, agile startups, public administrations and international urban bodies, and helped establish best practices across the smart‐city communityy. To accelerate adoption, we opened HAZUR to the broader resilience ecosystem through dedicated online training programs, cultivating a network of skilled professionals and strategic partners.
