Ourva Collective

The mission of ouRVA Collective is to benefit the Richmond community by empowering its next generation of philanthropists through education, volunteerism, community building and collective giving. Established in 2021 in partnership with the Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond, ouRVA Collective is a giving circle for ages 21-40 that is working to make a meaningful impact in the greater Richmond region by developing the next generation of philanthropists and community leaders through collective giving. A giving circle is based on the idea that individuals can make a greater impact in their communities by combining their time, money, and energy. ouRVA Collective asks that members to make a contribution to a fund housing at the Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond. The amount collected each year will be donated to a nonprofit working in one of the following focus areas-Community Vibrancy -Economic Prosperity -Educational Success -Health & Wellness Our promise to members is that by joining ouRVA Collective they will learn about the most important issues facing our community, create connections with other civic-minded individuals, and will find a way to leverage their philanthropy to make an impact in the Richmond region.
