P2X Partners is an independent advisory firm focused on unlocking the African energy transition. We build the investment theses that identify where cost-competitive clean energy capex creates durable commercial value — and then structure the deals to capture it. We work across three areas: Renewables — Front-of-meter project development, offtake structuring, PPA advisory and concessional funding strategy across Southern and East Africa. Behind-the-Meter Flexibility — Battery storage site economics, platform-scale acquisition theses, VPP architecture and dispatch economics. The generation problem is largely solved. The orchestration problem — who dispatches, who balances, who captures flexibility value — is where the next decade of value creation lives. Green Industrialisation — Commercialisation pathways for Power-to-X and green products. Bankable offtake mechanisms for green steel, fertiliser, sustainable aviation and maritime fuels through the African Green Products Initiative (AGPI). Track record includes advisory mandates for Hyphen Energy (Namibia's flagship green ammonia project), Mainstream Renewable Power, Exxaro and Global Renewables Alliance. Co-developed South Africa's first green steel project alongside ArcelorMittal and Sasol at Saldanha Bay. Co-hosted workshops at COP28 on aggregated green offtake for Africa.
