Pakistan Digital Authority

The Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is the national body established under the Digital Nation Pakistan Act, 2025 to lead, coordinate, and accelerate Pakistan’s journey toward becoming a true Digital Nation — one where every citizen, business, and government institution benefits from trusted technology, protected data, and intelligent digital public services. Guided by the National Digital Commission, PDA develops and implements the National Digital Masterplan, aligning federal and provincial initiatives under one unified digital vision — Digital Nation Pakistan. Our mission is to: • Build and govern secure, interoperable Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) including digital identity, data exchange, digital payments, cloud, and AI governance frameworks. • Enable a digital economy that empowers entrepreneurs and creates jobs. • Drive a digital society through inclusion, connectivity, and citizen experience design. • Ensure proactive, data-driven, paperless governance across all public services. • Safeguard Pakistan’s digital ecosystem through cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection. PDA works across government, industry, and development partners to co-create the building blocks of a seamless, cashless, and paperless Pakistan. We envision a future where digital services are not a privilege, but a right — accessible to every citizen, anywhere, anytime.
