When Paximadia Elena started 20 years ago, things were simpler and purer. Assisted by their whole family, Yiannos and Elena made bread and rusks using the same ingredients that a homemaker would use. This way our bakery products were always pure. Twenty years later, staying true to Cypriot tradition the rusks are still produced without preservatives or enhancers. Regardless of the requirements of modern times, all products are made in the way a grandmother would make them in her back yard. This is the characteristic of Elena’s rusks, as expected by our consumers. It is the purest food that parents can give their children and the tastiest snack to accompany them at home, school or play.
