Pechter Polls of Princeton (P3) provides opinion & behavioral research and advices on research methods to government, business, and not-for-profits in some of the most challenging locations around the world. P3 is supported by a network of indigenous suppliers with a presence in nearly every country in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. This derives from the same network that the US Information Agency (USIA) leveraged in the 80s and 90s to obtain sensitive opinion data for the US government. Over the last three years, P3 has stewarded more than 30 public opinion polls in Africa and the Middle East–an average of around one per month. Its seminal project was in South Sudan in October of 2011, where it trained South Sudanese field teams and successfully conducted the first-ever credible nationwide public opinion poll of South Sudan.
