Pegasus Farm Sanctuary

Pegasus is a farm animal shelter that has been operating for over 20 years. In the first years, the shelter's activity focused mainly on saving horses. The development of animal protection in Poland, the energy of young activists, and broader access to knowledge, especially about the fate of farm animals - these are the factors that allowed many species of animals to find a home in the asylum. They have one thing in common - each of their lives has been saved! By saving one animal, we will not change the world, but the whole world will change for this animal- this seemingly simple slogan has guided us since the first day of the shelter's operation. Horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, llamas, cats and dogs found shelter under the wings of the asylum. They all were saved from the nightmare of long hours of transport to the slaughterhouse, saved from homelessness, all emaciated and sick.
