Pope Francis has called for the Church to become synodal, that is, to become a people who listen to the Holy Spirit by listening to one another, the signs of the times, and the Scripture and the Tradition in order to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and then to act. The Pentecost Vigil Project was formed to unleash the Spirit of Synodality by offering resources, free and paid products and services, and consultation to assist all those ready to learn how to be a people who truly journey together, co-responsible, participatory, in communion with Christ and one another and always, always engaged in the mission of revealing Jesus Christ's loving presence to the world. We believe the Pope's embrace of Vatican II's image of the Church as the People of God, and his expansion of the notion of synodality is indeed the way forward for the Church in the Third Millennium. We are committed to being a one-stop-shop for synodality. We will amplify others' voices, host ongoing listening sessions, participate with other synod-focused organizations and continue to follow the Spirit on this amazing journey. Won't you join us?
