Established in the 1980s under the name of Edgware Skills Centre, it was the first Learndirect Centre in North London and a Pitman Training Centre. In 2004, it changed the name to Personal Improvement Ltd and in 2006, Anna Papakosta took over the business as a CEO and company director. We have been a Careers Advice Centre funded by the Education Skills Funding Agency to provide National Careers Service to adults. PIL has successfully delivered Training, Assessing, Careers Advice and Internal Quality Assurance to several diverse organisations including HE education, Further Education Colleges, Corporate companies, Local Authorities and Community Projects. We provide careers advice and support with training, coaching and mentoring of individuals to effectively search for employment within their chosen career. We believe in inspiring individuals to realise their potential, develop their skills and achieve their goals.
