Philip Simmons High School serves students in grades 9-12 with a comprehensive education system by offering a robust selection of academic courses including Advanced Placement, dual-credit courses, and honors-level courses. Our students are involved in Career and Technical Education courses which include, but are not limited to, Medical Terminology, Sports Medicine, Digital Desktop Publishing, Accounting, Introduction to Engineering Design, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Introduction to Engineering Design and Mechatronics Integrated Technologies 1, 2, 3. Students at Philip Simmons High School can take Fine Arts related classes such as art, orchestra, drama, band, and chorus. In addition to our rigorous and challenging programs of study, Philip Simmons High School offers a variety of sports, clubs, and organizations led by coaches and sponsors. All school opportunities and activities are used to set high expectations for our students to teach valuable life lessons such as serving the community, competition, and teamwork. Philip Simmons High School continues to expand and grow while engaging, cultivating, and producing high levels of success within our students. Iron Horse pride continues to grow rapidly among our students, parents, faculty, and community. The support received from our GameDay Club, Band Boosters, PTSA, and community supporters is invaluable. We, as a school community, continue to lead all of our students into the best educational opportunities to prepare them for their individual future endeavors. Philip Simmons High School strives to meet and supersede all expectations set forth, by igniting a flame and passion within each of our students as we prepare them for college or careers.
