I create wearable art jewelry in fine metals. My primary medium is metal clay - brand PMC Silver, manufactured by Mitsubishi. This material is fine silver particles combined with an organic clay binder. After forming and drying the material is either kiln or torch fired (micro torch)- the binder burns off and the silver particles are sintered. The artist is left with the purest of silver. Other manufacturers have created bronze and copper clays that I use occasionally. I exhibit and sell at small art and craft fairs and sell online. I will also create custom work to specification. I teach metal clay arts at my home studio and at other locations.
