Phronesis Medical Training

As a Respiratory Therapist working in home respiratory care for many years, I have noticed a lack of available training for nurses in home tracheostomy care and mechanical ventilation to care for critically ill patients outside the hospital setting. Phronesis Medical training was then created in 2016 to help fill that void. I offer continuing education credits (CEU’s) with hands-on training in tracheostomy care and mechanical ventilation to LVN’s, RN’s and healthcare professionals who wish to care for patients with a ventilator and/or tracheostomy in their homes or other facilities where a Respiratory Therapist is not readily available. I am also an instructor through the American Heart Association for BLS/CPR/AED & First Aid. As a Respiratory therapist with over 16 years’ experience in the homecare field, I understand the training needs of healthcare workers in today's challenging environment. I believe in sharing my personal experience through my classes and providing my students with a real-life experience. Phronesis Medical Training is an authorized provider through the California Board of Registered Nurses (BRN), the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) and the American Heart Association (AHA).
