Pinnacle Conference

Pinnacle is the first conference dedicated to addressing specific challenges faced by female physicians in medicine. In an era of continued gender pay disparity and work-place discrimination, the task of negotiating as a woman in the medical sphere can be daunting. Most female physicians indicate formal medical training has left them under-equipped for managing the realities of running a privately owned practice or joining a successful group practice. This lack of education in business and management is a primary barrier for many women considering medical practice options and Pinnacle is working to change that. We aim to empower women to pave their own path in medicine. By providing actionable information on tactics, tools and strategies for running or joining a successful practice, this conference will leave you feeling ready to tackle your goals of freedom in medicine. Our faculty will provide specific action points on how to negotiate contracts and salaries, offer up pearls of practice management, provide branding and marketing insight, and give you a peak into common pitfalls and how to avoid them. This multi-specialty conference provides a forum for female mentorship and sponsorship, and brings to the forefront the often neglected topics of work-life balance and pursuit of interests outside of medicine.
