My main role currently is as Transpower's Principal Market Development Architect, at which I work part-time (60%). This gives me time to use my expertise, enthusiasm and energy to consult in New Zealand or globally on electricity or gas markets or other areas relevant to my skills, experience and approach, and that do not conflict with my Transpower role. As I believe climate change prevention to be the most urgent and important issue, I give priority to work that has the aim or expected outcome of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. While Transpower has and continues to offer me excellent and interesting opportunities and projects, much of the necessary innovation will come from elsewhere. I am therefore open to other employment opportunities.
