Popin Edits

Anne Jacob is the founder and creator of Popin Edits, an author-friendly, freelance editing service. She holds a Master of Arts in Education (MAED) degree with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. An active member of the Florida Author’s and Publisher’s Association, she was recently elected to the Board of Directors and serves as the Member Services Chairperson. In addition to freelance editing, Anne works on the editorial staff of the award-winning publishing firm, Publish Your Gift. Prior to launching her editing career, Anne was a career music teacher for over thirty years. She earned and renewed her National Board Teaching Certification, worked as a scorer-trainer for the NBCT Project at Pearson Education, and was honored as her school’s “Teacher of the Year” three times. Her hobbies include fishing, boating, camping, hiking, playing the piano and guitar, and portraying a pirate at living history events with her husband and best friend, the renowned award-winning author, Robert Jacob.
