The Laboratory of Rural Geography and Precision Farming Systems (PrecFarm) studies, evaluates and develops precision farming tools that:(a) Monitor agricultural production,(b) Monitor and analyze environmental and abiotic features in farmland,(c) Monitor and analyze inputs and outputs of farms,(d) Monitor and analyze data on fertilization and plant protection with a focus on disease and enemies of crops and animals to ensure safety and quality of products and environmental protection,(e) Develop traceability and integrated management systems with precision farming tools,(f) Design agrienvironmental and land use policies The methods use take space and time into account, local particularities and combine quantitative and qualitative methods and applications
