The PSD company was established in 2005 and specializes in translation services or translation of texts from various expert fields, including legislation, technical instructions, medical, telecommunication, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and similar. PSD Group has been developing improvements for translation services since its beginnings. The selection of a translator, reviser and proof-reader is very important, as they make a vital contribution to the quality of the translation process and are constantly monitored during their work and assessed for possible non-compliances. PSD has subsidies in Slovenia, Serbia, Germany and Macedonia. With a group of over 650 translators, we translate in more than 73 languages. We emphasise quality, which is why we include another translator, a reviser, and an editor in the translation process, followed by a proofreader. In 2010, we received the European Standard EN 15038 for Translation Service Providers – the first translation company in Slovenia to do so – which the European Committee for Standardisation approved in 2006. In 2016, we upgraded our firm focus on quality by obtaining ISO 17100, a new Translation Services Standard, and a new ISO 9001. PSD has 13 full-time employees, three part-time employees, foreign representatives and more than 650 translators worldwide, 50 of whom cooperate with PSD on a daily basis (translators, revisers, lecturers and technicians).
