Pt Sumberdaya Arindo

PT Sumberdaya Arindo (“SDA”) was established on June 21, 2012. From 2012 to 2022, its initial shares were owned by PT Antam Resourcindo (82%) and PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya (18%), both of which are subsidiaries majority-owned by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. At its inception, PT Sumberdaya Arindo focused on obtaining core business licenses in mining services and other supporting business permits. The acquisition process of PT Sumberdaya Arindo’s shares, which were originally owned by PT Antam Resourcindo (82%) and PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya (18%), was completed on April 22, 2022, resulting in 99% ownership by PT Antam Tbk and 1% by PT Antam Resourcindo. On September 30, 2022, PT Sumberdaya Arindo officially transformed into a mining company holding a Nickel Mining Business License (IUP) on Halmahera Island, East Maluku. On December 28, 2023, PT Sumberdaya Arindo's shares were divested to Hongkong CBL Limited, a subsidiary of Ningbo Contemporary Brunp Lygend Co Limited (CBL) from China. This divestment changed the ownership structure, with PT Antam Tbk owning 51% of the shares and Hongkong CBL Limited holding 49%. This divestment is part of the plan to build an EV battery ecosystem in Indonesia, which PT Antam Tbk and its partners will undertake. Regarding the development of the EV battery ecosystem, PT Sumberdaya Arindo aims to produce nickel ore with a maximum capacity of 13 million WMT, starting from 2027.
