pure xi launched online in June 2014, but we'd like to think that it's initial conception began a long time before that. In a generation of lost identities living within secular modernity, it seems that the faith we once had as a people has withered. You either accept the culture of the present, or confine yourself in the bounds of faith. pure xi asks the question,'why not both?'. Where the pearls of Arabia meet the Land of the Rising Sun, our influence heavily comes from the golden ages of Arab aesthetics, to the future conceptions of Neo Tokyo. Inspired by manga artists of the Far East, and poets of the Middle East, we bring these paradigms together in fusion with western efficiency.
