This is a legacy profile of PUUF Studio (2017-2023)** PUUF works for a sustainable tomorrow by being an innovative circular design studio & partner for events. We upcycle into a circular system of products that are durable, locally produced, and recyclable. As a supplier to the event industry and a creative studio, we carry a big responsibility towards our peers and the environment. Every day, we go up against the status quo, we distance ourselves from the classic linear system which focuses on cheap production and disposable materials. Instead, we work with a system in which we design waste away and keep materials in use. It’s called the circular economy – a new way to create and use within planetary boundaries. Sustainability is our core value and we embrace it through conscious design decisions and choice of materials. PUUF materials are: Upcycled, Durable, Locally produced & used, Reusable & recyclable. PUUF designs are: Modular, Timeless, Repairable, Afterlife & disassembly smart. In our work, we reduce, reuse, rethink, and experiment. When we design, when we create, when we buy, our aim is to always go for the most environmentally responsible solution. These practices, PUUF materials and PUUF designs directly correspond to SDGs number 8, 12 and 13. We bring the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals close to our daily work, because even the smallest, local actions have global consequences.
