Louise Roe Andersen, the danish designer who founded LOUISE ROE in 2010, has shaped her eponymous brand with a strong artistic vision and a deep appreciation for European craftsmanship. Her designs, rooted in minimalism yet infused with an avant-garde sensibility, emphasize sculptural forms and the inherent character of natural materials. Der findes ikke standard-mennesker og derfor laver vi heller ikke standard-køkkener. Det tror vi på, og det er INVITAs mission. Hvert køkken bliver skræddersyet, og vi begynder først at producere køkkenet, når vi sammen med kunden har fundet den helt rigtige, personlige løsning. Det var faktisk baggrunden for at starte INVITA i sin tid som en ordreproducerende virksomhed i 1974, og det har været vores grundfilosofi lige siden. Vores vigtigste opgave og vision er at skabe en INVITA løsning, som fungerer i det daglige, og som man kan glæde sig over hver dag. INVITA har i dag 21 butikker i Danmark og ejes af svenske Nobia AB, der er Europas største køkkenproducent og står bag 16 europæiske køkkenmærker.

Oaklings was founded in 2020 by Anja Pajor. We create high-end children's design furniture and decor with an aesthetic Nordic feeling. Our furniture is shaped and crafted by true enthusiasts and is made to last a lifetime. Our first collection is designed by the acclaimed Danish designer, Nina Bruun and handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in Italy. Our philosophy to the design is simple; we put the same effort and un-compromising approach into design, quality and material as with furniture for adults. Children’s chairs are part of the interior in restaurants, hotels and private homes, but very often our aesthetic ambitions are lower when it comes to interior for the children. We want to change that by making furniture for children that blend perfectly with high end interior for the rest of the family.

This is a legacy profile of PUUF Studio (2017-2023)** PUUF works for a sustainable tomorrow by being an innovative circular design studio & partner for events. We upcycle into a circular system of products that are durable, locally produced, and recyclable. As a supplier to the event industry and a creative studio, we carry a big responsibility towards our peers and the environment. Every day, we go up against the status quo, we distance ourselves from the classic linear system which focuses on cheap production and disposable materials. Instead, we work with a system in which we design waste away and keep materials in use. It’s called the circular economy – a new way to create and use within planetary boundaries. Sustainability is our core value and we embrace it through conscious design decisions and choice of materials. PUUF materials are: Upcycled, Durable, Locally produced & used, Reusable & recyclable. PUUF designs are: Modular, Timeless, Repairable, Afterlife & disassembly smart. In our work, we reduce, reuse, rethink, and experiment. When we design, when we create, when we buy, our aim is to always go for the most environmentally responsible solution. These practices, PUUF materials and PUUF designs directly correspond to SDGs number 8, 12 and 13. We bring the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals close to our daily work, because even the smallest, local actions have global consequences. Autumn Cph is about sharing and showcasing materials, artists, objects, and production units that hold and radiate a special resonance through time. The particular physicality of form varies from piece to piece, with everything held together in harmony through the prism of an inimitable object charisma that’s possessed by every Autumn Cph work. We are ceaselessly captivated by the layers embodied in each material object. Therein lies each piece’s unique identity and history of production. These sediments and stories imbue our objects with their ineffable characters and auras. Besides the pleasures and perfections of pure aesthetics, all our selections are guided by our reverence for longstanding materials and methods of making, from the marble and clay formed underground over millennia, to the historic handcraft of braiding, the iconic silhouette of the ancient amphora, and the crate as an early form for transporting goods. Our love for how modern creators reworked traditional methods inspires our admiration for contemporary designers who reimagine production techniques for a positive future. We feel our works contain cultural moments and social symbolisms that diffuse into every environment, installation, or image in which they sit. Copenhagen-based founder Trine Guldager has a design background and has lived and worked all over Europe. Our collaborators come from various European countries, all united by a deep-rooted interest in craftsmanship and creativity, and in materials and how they can be imaginatively used and re-employed. We believe that the beauty and function of physical form can help us stop and think about what came before and what will come after. Autumn Cph works with processes such as rare colour re-issues, small specialised production units within the EU and sourcing objects from earlier times. Mumutane
Mumutane is a home interior brand with an inspirational mix of Nordic aesthetics and vibrant African expression. African wax print textiles contain many tales and stories of life in Africa, which give the products a special dimension and story. Minimising textile waste, creating social impact, B Corp certified. Every cushion is unique. The front is made of wax print textile purchased from small, local textile shops in West Africa. The back is made of high-quality wool-blended leftover textiles. The objective is to create ’products with purpose’, which is why Mumutane has a sustainable approach with a focus on minimising textile waste, improve work conditions in low-income countries and support production with social impact businesses in Denmark. The environment and social responsibility agenda together with the give work philosophy is a mindset that is rooted in the core of Mumutane’s strategy. Therefore, Mumutane has also become certified as a B Corporation in 2021. The cushions are adaptable to your preferences: one side express Nordic minimalism and the other African liveliness. This cultural crossover adds a personal and playful interior experience to any conscious, modern home.

Nordtrice is a women owned candle making company and design studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We specialize in colors and scents while doing it with passion to Scandinavian style and design. Candles that are coming out of our hands are colorful and very unique, you wouldn't spot two the same ones! All candles are made in our small manufacture that is located on suburbs of Copenhagen in cozy neighborhood of Søborg. We are also owning a little shop-showroom with candles and home accessories together with our manufacture where our retailer and private customers can come and order their products in person. Right now Nordtrice candles are available at retailers across the world, mainly in Europe, but also in the US and Canada.

Fabrikken ligger i Österlen i det sydlige Skåne, og er repræsenteret med forhandlere i Danmark og Sverige. Med dygtige medarbejdere fra både Sverige og Danmark trækker vi på vores fælles, nordiske og stolte design- og håndværkstraditioner i produktionen af alle vores køkkener. Smedstorp Snedkeri blev gundlagt helt tilbage i 1945. Dengang var vi et møbelsnedkeri, som fremstillede køkkener i hånden med manuelle processer. Selvom produktionen løbende er blevet optimeret med de nyeste maskiner, arbejder vi stadig ud fra de oprindelige dyder og principper, hvor kvalitet, faglig stolthed og kunden er i centrum. Vi dyrker det gode håndværk i samspil med en effektiv og moderne produktion. Derfor kan vi levere skræddersyede løsninger i høj kvalitet til en fornuftig pris, som er lokalt produceret i Øresundsregionen. Vi er bevidste om vores historie, som strækker sig tilbage til 1945, og samtidig sørger vi for at forny vores produkter. På den måde trækker vores sortiment både på traditionelt håndværk som perlespor og malede fyldningslåger og på helt moderne og minimalistiske designprincipper. Det har vi mulighed for, fordi vi driver en produktion med høj forædlingsgrad, hvor vi producerer de fleste elementer fra bunden lokalt på vores fabrik i Smedstorp.
