Teens are struggling these days. After 20 years as an educator, I can confidently say that I offer support, guidance, and mentorship allowing adolescents to feel a sense of success and fulfillment. Through a 6-week to 12-week coaching session, teens are able to better understand their own brains, tested coping strategies, and how to build resiliency. Teen Coaching allows young people to understand themselves better, their goals, and their visions as they begin to shape their independent lives. Coaching gives teens a way to navigate through obstacles that may arise and learn accountability, bringing forth the feeling of pride and accomplishment. Weekly goal setting gives the understanding and experience of success, building a fundamental foundation to lead a productive adult life. Coaching can aid social skill building, self-confidence, and self-worth, lower anxiety, and reach academic performance goals. The framework is to meet once a week for six-week sessions. Most teens ask for follow-up sessions after the initial six weeks. Services are offered in person or virtually.
