REX Wine & Grill where French gastronomy meets US chophouse culture. Helmed by Classically French trained Thomas Caro, the cozy chamber cucina will deliver hearty dining experiences robust with French flair and American opulence. The beef selections will be the star of the show, highlighted by exceptional breeds like Italian Scottona beef and Japanese olive-fed cattle, one of the world’s rarest. The wine program, another core concept, will include a great range of international labels from prestigious names to up-and-coming winemakers. Wine collectors can store their own bottles in the Member’s Cellar, ready to be uncorked in perfect condition on the next visit. The interior of Rex – named in honour of the legendary transatlantic ocean liner SS Rex (1931-1944) – strikes an equally resplendent mix of Art Deco and maritime elements. It is luxurious, fun and unapologetically masculine. The steakhouse name also pays tribute to the famous Los Angeles restaurant Rex Il Ristorante, run by late great Italian chef Mauro Vincenti. The restaurant was featured in the beloved movie Pretty Woman and chef Bombana worked there early in his career.
