Rhythm Riders Academy

Rhythm Riders Academy is a music school which specialises in the art of Indian percussion. Founded in 2019, the Academy offers Tabla and Mridangam lessons across Melbourne. The school is inclusive of all age groups, ranging from children to adults. Lessons are held in a relaxed and enjoyable environment to assist in students learning their chosen instrument comfortably. Rhythm Riders prides itself on having their students learn and master these classical art forms. Our lessons are conducted by professional performers ensuring our students gain the level of insight required to be performance ready. We pride ourselves on having our students learn these classical art forms, as well as being able to apply their skills in a modern context. The Rhythm Riders Music Academy conducts optional formalised exams for both Mridangam and Tabla. The student will be required to fulfil a list of requirements and will be measured against a criteria. Upon completing the final grade examination, the student will be an expert in the instrument of choice and be ready to perform, just as any professional in the field can.
