Richard Westerhuis

Richard Westerhuis (1965) is a conceptual fine art photographer. His new series 'Is This The Poem I Promised You?' was a search for the ideal color palette. In the style of the old masters of painting, Richard has created a unique palette of 47 colors, chosen from 400 different color filters. This palette in combination with the completely handmade decors results in unique compositions without digital post-processing. The result? A unique series of 10 artworks visualizing rooms where the main characters have left and where eventually everything is lost except the lights.
