Rio Hondo Prep

Rio Hondo Preparatory School is a coed independent college preparatory school located in Arcadia, California. We seek to provide a college prep program for students and to train Christian leaders. The student body consists of approximately 180 students in grades seven through twelve and was founded in 1964. The school has a strong Christian tradition, emphasizing character development and service to others. Students have the opportunity to participate in athletics, serve in their community and enjoy an action-packed student life. The curriculum at Rio Hondo Prep is designed to ensure that each student receives a foundation based on a mastery of core courses, enhanced by additional course work and hands-on learning experiences. The curricular program is designed around graduation requirements based on the California university a-g standards.
