Rocketry Unit Beira Interior

We are a group of students from Universidade da Beira Interior and from Universidade de Coimbra with a common goal: develop and test a rocket to compete in EuRoC – a competition organized by Portugal Space, who look to stimulate university students to project and build their own rockets! In a time where the importance of diversity is getting more and more acknowledged around the world, it is with the greatest pride that we present a group of students that is formed by a mixture of experience and youth, with students from a big diversity of courses such as Astrophysics, Biology, Aeronautical engineering, Physics and Medicine, with some students without any connection to the area, and others with great projects such as STRATOSPOLCA – in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) – in their resumé. Our willpower made this project possible, and our mission is to prove that anyone – related to the area or not – can learn Rocket Science!
