Roig Collection

Ricardo Roig is a thirty-five year old professional fine artist who has maintained a large art studio space just outside NYC in Hoboken, NJ for the past seven years. Roig is a professional in conceptualizing and creating limited edition hand cut screen prints and oil paintings. Roig attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, where he received his formal training and was introduced to a rich art history full of many artistic styles that he draws inspiration from. Roig graduated Cum Laude from Kean University with a BFA in Painting and Printmaking. He also holds a post-bac teacher certification from Kean University. Roig’s art has connected with collectors in Australia, Germany, London, Spain, France, Sweden and Canada, two collectors who work in Christie’s Auction House, ten pieces purchased by the Hoboken Historical Museum, published in Vellum Magazine which was distributed in an international tour including Art Basel in Miami, commissioned for 26 works by New York University Stern School of Business, commissioned for 5 works by Shake Shack for their NJ locations, published in Industry Magazine, Westfield Living magazine, noted in the New York Times, showcased work at the W Hotel on 49th & Lexington Avenues in NYC, commissioned by MGM Studios, invited to speak at World 50 executive assistant conference, and currently exhibits work in his two gallery spaces in Roig Collection at the W Hotel in Hoboken NJ & Roig Collection in Westfield NJ. Recently Roig has translated his unique process into one of a kind hand cut stencil murals with two large outdoor murals in Hoboken, NJ, a large interior mural in an Amazon warehouse in Woodbridge, NJ and an interior mural in the W Hotel Hoboken. Jersey City City Hall will be home to the next Roig mural and Westfield NJ is commissioning a large outdoor mural this September.
