Rootpop

Founded in 2017 by Kelly, a high-fashion, architectural, interior designer and artist-turned-serial entrepreneur and single mother of one, Rootpop is a pioneer in Beijing's plant-based community, serving authentic and 100% vegan western cuisine. All leadership positions are currently held by women, setting an example for a fair and inclusive environment which empowers women and their contributions to society. Rootpop's mission is to spread awareness of a plant-based lifestyle for the environment, conservation and health. In September 2018, Rootpop spearheaded the "Pop-Plant Based" festival in Beijing. The event attracted thousands of guests, with hundred of vendors, sponsors and plant-based foods, ultimately resulting in not only Beijing, but China's largest plant-based festival.
