Ruben Benjamin

Ruben Benjamin is an artist from Germany. He began working with spray paint and textures at the age of 14, studied mechanical engineering and management, and produces his three-dimensional art in his studio in Munich. Ruben Benjamin’s work deals with perspective, natural phenomena, technology, and motion."To me, in my work, sculpture and painting are interwoven elegantly. I am fascinated by the vibrant luminosity which is achieved by arranging and combining colors in a three-dimensional, overlapping manner. This purism and the provoked contrast of light and shadow affected by the depth of the artworks characterize my work. The frozen dynamics in my textures allow me to capture unique moments in time. Therefore, I describe my work rather as sculptures for walls than paintings.
