Al- Rafidain University is an ancient Iraqi educational institution that was established on 23/11/1988. The Iraqi Society for Statistical Sciences was the founding body of the college. The study began in this college starting from the academic year 1988/1989, as it is considered one of the oldest private colleges in Iraq, as it occupies an advanced position among the universities and governmental and private operating colleges. Medical cadres specialized in oral and dental surgery, pharmacists, engineering, scientific and humanitarian cadres have graduated from Al-Rafidain University College over more than thirty years, and still are, in order to build our dear homeland and ensure the future of its children. Al-Rafidain University College grants a bachelor's degree in various scientific, administrative, and human specializations according to the laws, regulations, instructions, and controls of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through direct scientific and educational supervision of all its various activities, and therefore its certificate is recognized by the Ministry and the scientific community in the Arab world and internationally. Al-Rafidain University College currently includes fourteen medical, engineering, scientific, and human departments, and the duration of study in all its departments is four years, as the student is granted, after successfully passing it, a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in his specialty, except for the departments of dentistry and pharmacy, as the duration of their studies is five years after which the graduate is granted Bachelor's degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. The approved system in the college is the annual system of two semesters, except for the pharmacy department, which relies on a one-semester system. The course system was approved at the beginning of the academic year 2019/2020 for the first stages only and for all departments.
