Rural Focus Impact Group

Rural Focus Impact Group (RFIG) was established to address the gap in occupational therapy services available to adults with psychosocial disability and cognitive impairment, who are living in rural, regional and remote locations. RFIG acknowledge that members of these communities often face unique challenges, including limited access to services, long travel times, and fewer local resources. Our aim is to address this gap and contribute to building healthier, more resilient rural, regional and remote communities. We are passionate about supporting geographically isolated clients who can't easily access services and we prioritise referrals for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
