SafeBangle Technologies stands as a pioneering force in the battle against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Africa, leveraging technology for the greater social good. Our mission to create a safer and more secure environment for women and children through innovative, affordable, and creative technology solutions has not only impacted the lives of individuals but has also shaped the discourse around GBV in Africa. Through our groundbreaking SafeBangle bracelet and interactive web system, we have transformed how society responds to GBV incidents by providing real-time violence reporting without the need for internet connectivity, enabling swift responses to GBV incidents. In the course of our journey, we have achieved remarkable milestones namely; sale of hundreds of SafeBangle bracelets, recognition as the "Most Inspiring Digital Innovation" by Partos in 2020, received substantial support from organizations, and gained international recognition from platforms like BBC Arabic and Deutsche Welle. Our network comprises nine local and international partners, including the ResilientAfrica Network Lab which spreads across 15 African countries and have been acknowledged through nominations and awards for our commitment to safety and protection which aligns seamlessly with the objectives of the Private Sector Advisory Group, focusing on advocating for sustainable development, empowerment, and well-being across the African continent.
