Sapar Contemporary Gallery

Sapar Contemporary Gallery + Incubator is the brainchild of its two founders, Raushan Sapar and Nina Levent. After opening in Tribeca in spring of 2016, Sapar Contemporary has launched the Tribeca Art Night that brought together galleries, art lovers, and creators in this neighborhood four times a year. SAPAR Contemporary also launched an Incubator is focused on the emerging art scene and cultural traditions of Central Asia. Sapar Contemporary’s program is focused on the global contemporary art. The gallery works with international artists who span three generations and five continents. The gallery artists engage in global conversations and develop vocabularies that resonate as strongly in Baku, Almaty and Istanbul as they do in New York, Kiev and Mexico City. Their artistic practices vary from textile installations, to paper sculpture and writing code. Sapar Contemporary is a member of Art Dealers of America (AADA) and contributes to global art fairs including Art Basel, The Armory Show, The Dallas Art Fair, The ADAA Art Show, Abu Dhabi Art, and Art Brussels.
