SBC Renewables Ltd (SBC) is the new name for The Solar Building Company Ltd. Formed in July 2011. SBC started as a distributor of PV components with a strong engineering focus. Since then the company has moved into large scale solar development both ground and roof top based. Engineering services have allowed SBC to develop unique solutions for commercial roof-top solar increasing yield and allowing deployment on roofs that were previously unable to take solar securely. SBC works with its customers to designing bespoke sites; with EPCs for engineering and procurement advice; and with EIS Funds for due diligence on completed turnkey assets. SBC also develops and build its own small and large scale Solar PV projects.
