It’s best to let me show you how I work and what I do rather than tell you. I offer a free, five-page sample edit to all new clients. What do you get with my editing service? My standard service has developed as a result of working as a content editor for several publishers and providing various editing services to self-published authors. I enjoy content and developmental editing work, but most self-publishers and digital publishers work on a tight schedule, as well as budget. So, I do one pass that includes a mixture of content and line editing. It’s a concentrated, slow pass. I will address plot issues, pacing, character development, believability issues, overused words, confusing or unclear text, POV issues, whatever issues crop up in your project. If you have any special questions I’ll keep those in mind while working through your manuscript.
