Seevix Material Sciences is a biotechnology company producing high strength spidersilk fibers. Through recombinant DNA technologies and backed by over a decade of scientific research, we are unique in our ability to replicate the natural process of spidersilk creation. We develop advanced nanocomposites for medical devices, such as surgical sutures, and scaffold solutions for tissue engineering, which benefit from our fibers’ mechanical properties and biocompatibility. In addition, we work closely with our customers and collaborators to reinforce materials for next generation products in the aerospace, defense, tire and automotive, 3D printing, cosmetics, additive manufacturing, and sports industries. Founded in 2014 and privately held, Seevix is located in Jerusalem, Israel.
