Sallie Hirshberg brings over thirty years of experience in art counsel to SH Modern. She began her corporate art career with one of Fidelity Investments’ top subsidiary companies, where she flourished over a decade as an advisor, implementing major art acquisitions for private and public collections around the world. In Ms. Hirshberg combined her deep art knowledge with a strong understanding of the fine art market to establish one of the world’s foremost galleries dealing in masterworks, Galerie d’Orsay. Under her leadership, Galerie d’Orsay’s collection grew to include rare, museum-quality artworks spanning six centuries. In 2014, Ms. Hirshberg founded SH Modern, based in Southwest Florida. The firm assists collectors in acquiring and placing rare works of art in private and corporate collections. Her close relationships with private art dealers, historians, and museums worldwide have enabled her to source and place exceptional original works for her clients. By merging her experience with a passion for inspired art, SH Modern is quickly becoming a leader in art advisory services, both locally and internationally. A dedicated supporter of the arts, Ms. Hirshberg’s relationship with cultural and charitable organizations close to her heart has been a meaningful aspect of her career, including SheGives, JF & CS, the Pomegranate Society, and the Young Presidents’ Organization. She has also partnered with institutions such as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, March of Dimes, Junior League of Boston, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, donating artworks and hosting events to support their missions. She has served on the boards of several of these organizations. Art, and its ability to elevate and connect people, is at the heart of Ms. Hirshberg’s business and humanitarian endeavors. It continues to inspire her work as a leader in today’s ever-evolving art world.
