She Speaks Up

She Speaks Up exists to work in partnership with artists, local community groups, workshops, and bookshops,(anyone with a creative bone in their body) to help facilitate pop-up art exhibitions and workshops that serve the community. We hope to help everyone, particularly women, to find ways to tell stories that might not have been told. She* – we are trans and non-binary inclusive. Speaks* – We are not just speaking – we mean expressing yourself however best you see fit. Up* – We aren’t just about being loud or assertive. Sometimes speaking up means speaking quietly and subversively, sometimes it means being silent.
