Shoemaker Innovation Center

The Shoemaker Innovation Center is a university-wide, student-focused source for creative and effective approaches to supporting technology innovation and entrepreneurship at Indiana University. The center regularly hosts talks by experienced technology innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as workshops to facilitate the development of the technical skills students need for the building of their technological innovations so that they can develop them into successful products. Shoemaker Technology Inventor and Entrepreneur Speaker Series Experienced technology inventors and entrepreneurs who regularly serve as speakers to share their lessons learned through the application of technological solutions to real-world problems. Shoemaker Innovation Center Technical Specialists Student technical specialists who schedule appointments to provide consultation to students seeking guidance regarding how to build their technological innovations/products. Shoemaker Scholars Scholarship recipients who work on behalf of the Shoemaker Innovation Center to better understand student needs and work with the center staff to develop academic programs. Shoemaker Technical Skills Development Workshops Academic workshops which teach the key skills that innovators and entrepreneurs need to successfully develop their technology and build their business.
