Signes De Sens

Signes de sens is a non-profit organization that designs and experiments with inclusive services to enable the full participation of people with disabilities in society. What drives us is collaboration with a broad network of stakeholders across key sectors such as education, training, culture, transport, citizenship, health, and prevention. Since 2003, our work has been guided by two core principles: A vision: disability is a driver of innovation and performance for society as a whole. A method: inclusive social design, which places users at the heart of analysis and creative processes, while actively engaging all stakeholders. We work with: Companies, both public and private, to help them move forward on disability-related issues—by making employment more accessible and by positioning disability as a central element of their innovation strategies. Local authorities and communities, supporting them in developing disability policies in coordination with local stakeholders, and in designing public policies with people with disabilities, grounded in the principles of universal design and beneficial to all citizens. Health and social care organizations, which we support in transforming their services and organizational models as part of the shift toward inclusion and deinstitutionalization, as well as in improving care pathways through new professional practices and tools. To summarize, we bring together two worlds- general public services and organizations, with whom we co-create inclusive services and products- and health and social care organizations, which we support in their transition toward inclusive practices. The result: concrete projects that foster better inclusion for everyone.
