Singani Casa Real

Singani Casa Real is the result of an initiative undertaken by the Sociedad Agroindustrial del Valle Ltda.(SAIV) to produce the best singanis in the valley of Tarija. Inspired by a long family tradition, Don Luis Granier Ballivián founded the SAIV with the intention of expanding his father-in-law’s development, which was the establishment of the first industrialized distillery in the Valley of Cinty, close to Tarija. SAIV designated Santa Ana la Nueva, 11 miles from Tarija, as the ideal location for the new endeavor. The determination to cultivate the vines in Santa Ana was the result of research which showed that the site was optimal for grape-growing; The combination of a benign and dry climate and an altitude of 6,562 feet, give Santa Ana high sun exposure, which in turn creates a natural microclimate that results in grapes with a especial aroma, quality and taste. Casa Real uses these grapes to distill its singani. Today, the Granier family continues to build upon their fourth generation of excellence in wines and singanis. Being an industry leader, Casa Real knows that without vision and effort, their privileged natural location would not yield the distinction they sought for on its own. Thus the SAIV complements the natural elements of the Santa Ana Valley with constant human development, which lead to skilled workers, and high capital development to bring latest in French technology, including French alembics and grafted vines brought form southern France.
