Fundraising for a better life Our Mission: At the Saint John of God Foundation, we’re passionate about improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, mental health challenges, and complex medical needs. Since 1960, we’ve been raising funds to support the incredible work of the Saint John of God Hospitaller Services Group, helping them provide compassionate care and meaningful services here in Ireland and beyond. What We Do: We support a variety of important services, including: Residential Care: Creating safe, welcoming homes for people with different needs, including complex medical care. Day Services: Offering fun and engaging community activities like sports, drama, and arts & crafts. Respite Services: Providing short-term care at places like Suzanne House and Alexandra Manor, giving families a much-needed break. Educational Support: Running programs like Sólás in Belfast that offer tailored education and therapy for children with extra needs. Facility Improvements: Upgrading and renovating spaces like day centers and playgrounds to make them even better for those we support. Our Impact: Thanks to the generous support we receive, we’re able to help improve the quality of life for many people, invest in sustainable and effective services, and provide essential equipment and facilities to meet growing needs.
