Slater Run Vineyards

Slater Run Vineyards, founded in 2010 by Chris and Kiernan (Slater) Patusky, is located in Upperville, Virginia. Our winery features premium French-style wines made from Virginia grown grapes, the majority of which come from the 13-acres of vineyards on site. Our winemaker, Katell Griaud, was raised at her family’s winery in Monbazillac, France, and she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in winemaking from Bordeaux University. Sustainability and stewardship of the land are a part of our everyday practices that include hand-harvesting in the vineyard and solar powered operations in the winery. We offer a Hunt Country estate wine experience with sweeping views overlooking the vineyard on land that has been in the Slater family for over 300 years.
