Smart Soft Serv, located in Bucharest, Romania, provides translation and localization services for many Fortune Global 500 companies. Our profile is dedicated to a single target language (Romanian). Our main expertize is on English as the source language, but we can also handle German and French as source languages. The main area of specialization is IT and its close related domain, Mobile Telecom, with around words translated per year. The Automotive and Mechanics domain is another important part of our expertize. Due to our commitment to deliver quality jobs in the specified timeframe, we have reached a total wordcount of over per year. We are using a large range of CAT tools like Trados, Logoport, Catalyst, Passolo, SDLX, Idiom, Transit, Locstudio, Helium, depending on the client’s request. However, using any other software should not be a problem for us. Four of our PMs are coming from IT (2 former system engineers and 2 former programmers). One of them was Microsoft MCSE and Novell CNE certified before he switched to the localization industry.
