We help people and organizations figure out where changes are happening, and how they can deal with change by answering some of these questions: How do we know stuff? Who we are in a community? How do we get things done? How do we get a group of people to do things? How do we involve groups of people? How do we imagine a future for a group? The reason these questions aren't easy to answer is that there is always more than one answer to the question "What has changed about these things?" Most answers typically fall into one of the three categories: 1) No change. Everything is the same. 2) Completely different. Humans have never seen this before. 3) So old, it looks new. We are retrieving some old human practice.
