Only 35% of the population in Tanzania have access to electricity, with only 16% of the rural area connected to the national grid. Tanzania is just 1 of 54 countries in Africa. Electricity is fundamental in empowering people, communities and countries. Without reliable electricity communities are at a serious economic disadvantage. The reality of schools and medical centres operating without electricity means limited educational and medical services, no lights and no clean water. SoEnergi have developed a low-cost micro-grid system that is more reliable, sustainable and affordable than any other product on the market. The system uses a unique battery configuration design that consist of recycled batteries, powered by solar panels.
