This mission is deeply personal for Cait Sarazin, the founder of Solo and Kicking. Sarazin spent the majority of her life avoiding listening to herself and falling into a complacent rut. For 25 years, she lived a life petrified to step outside of her comfort zone or expose any vulnerabilities. After ending a 2-year long relationship, Sarazin became painfully aware of her inabiliity to maintain and create meaningful connections in her life and how miserable she was on her current path. A major shift in mindset took place after Sarazin went on a week-long solo trip driving through the majestic landscape of Iceland. She met some inspiring solo travelers who chased after their dreams. This inspired Sarazin rethink her current course and come to the conclusion that it was time to make her own map. Solo and Kicking chronicles Sarazin’s journey of self-development, creating meaningful connections, and search for what makes her passionate while providing advice from what she’s learned for other’s to do the same.
